Happy Holidaze!

(We're baaaack!)

Child sitting on Santa's lap 1960First off Merry and Happy tidings of the season, Boomers!

It's been a looong hiatus and I do apologize for our absence! In this time away we've been learning a lot...new ways to do things, new software...

In fact, we've learned so much it's been overwhelming to think of how it will affect Boomerang. Should we be a blog? Should we have a shopping cart? Should we have ads?

Well, we're still working all that out but I promise you this...we will be back and bringing you back to what makes us boomers and retro enthusiasts happy. In the meantime we're doing a bit of "recycling" and bringing you Boomerang Christmas fun past. Cheers for a New Year ahead!

New to Boomerang?

Welcome!

Welcome to Boomerang, the website devoted to the baby boom generation – born between 1945 and 1962 and all things retro. Share memories and connect with others and reflect on the good things from our past.

Recapturing some of our past and bringing them to a new generation is our hope. Everything old is new again, so we hope to focus in on "new" trends that reflect new twists on the past.

Best of Boomerang Christmas

Cherished Christmas albums

Falalala listenting to the sounds of Crosby, Cole and Alvin

Some of our favorites we still share during the holidays!

About a boy, a gun and a major award

A Visit with Ralphie

Who knew a book set in 1946 and published in 1966 would have such a hold on those of us born between those years—nostalgia brought about by a 1981 movie?!

Shiny and Bright

Sparkle pretty on your Christmas tree!

In classic red, silver, green, gold but also in pink, blue, white and more these shiny baubles meant sheer Christmas joy!

Tinsle Time

Twinkly, tinsle tannenbaums to tantalize!

These aluminum beauties came in pink and green as well, perfect symbols for all things commercial on Christmas...but we loved 'em anyway!

Yummy for the Holidays from Granola Girl!

How about a Gingerbread House for your family? Or some yummy eggnog?
